Our rubber tile system can be utilized over any structural surface: on roof membranes, rigid insulation, or on structural concrete like you see here.
The rubber pavers with built-in pedestal systems offers tremendous drainage, design flexibility and easy installations. It provides a unique and viable alternative to traditional systems by allowing for different heights and weights within the tile, while at the same time protecting the roofing and waterproofing materials……..all without damaging the sub-surface below.
The fire-resistant rubber tiles we offer provides plenty of points toward both LEED and SITES certification, and are sturdy enough to support all types of activities on top. The design team chose our permeable turf-top rubber tiles for the center, not only to better manage storm-water, but also to create a valuable outdoor “grass” space for the children to differentiate themselves from other schools.
These self-interlocking panels are designed to help reduce maintenance costs in the future as they can be accessed to allow for the removal of individual tiles if roof maintenance, drain access, or tile replacement is required.
