It is specifically designed for use under and around active (high traffic), common areas to help reduce the displacement of loose filled materials such as: sand, wood-chips, pea-gravel, fiber, etc. from developing unwanted problems. Our “Wear-Pad™” provides a beveled edge on all four sides to prevent a trip hazard, while at the same time act as a shore-line for loose filled materials to remain in place. It meets or exceeds: ASTM, CPSC, ADA, USGBC safety standards and guidelines for: Fall Safety Heights, Skid Resistance (wet or dry), Weathering/Aging, Fire Resistance, LEAD Content, etc. It is made from 100% recycled tires and rubber that have been reclaimed right here in the United States of America.
